What’s NOT Bothering Me About WrestleMania 28

Quick note: Thank you so much to those of you that have contributed to my first album project. I'm only four days into the Kickstarter project and already at 12% funded. It's humbling and I genuinely appreciate the support. If you haven't heard or read about it, check it out. There's only 8 Mick Foley phone calls left, plus Billy Gunn video phone calls are also available! Thanks again everyone — I'll keep you updated.

If you're a wrestling fan, nothing should be bothering you right now.

It's WrestleMania weekend and I can still remember April 4th, 2011 like it was yesterday. That's when this year's 'Mania main event was announced in unprecedented fashion. That one night guaranteed that tomorrow's event would be the most anticipated and most bought wrestling pay per view of all time.

And here we are.

If there's something that is bothering me right now as it relates to the wrestling business, it's that I didn't get to make the trip to Miami. And yep, I'm pretty bothered by that fact. So, outside of that one stitch of negativity, here's a few things I'm absolutely loving about the WrestleMania weekend.

EDGE HOF INDUCTION

I thought it was too soon, but I'm over that now.

Edge was my pick to beat the Undertaker's streak a few years ago. He carved a name for himself without it, but at the time of their match, he was a perfect example of the type of superstar that should receive the honors.

It's hard enough to make it to the top of the wrestling business, and stay there, but the degree of difficulty rises even more when you try to make it there coming out of such an established tag team. It's hard to convince fans to accept you on that level alone.

Edge succeeded and then some. It's tragic he's not still doing it.
