Jinder Mahal def. Two Jobbers

What I Liked:

Mahal grabs my attention a little here, especially stealing the "gimmick" of Ryback. It looks like Ryback has finally gotten himself a feud, with someone that nobody has cared about from day one. I view Mahal as a low card guy with little creativity, but he has a good look and can be used appropriately. Ryback comes out and chases off Mahal, which I thought was very smart. We do not need to see him in a match on both shows each week because it will over expose his skills.

What I Disliked:

I wanted a real competitor, someone with a track record, to face Ryback. We are not getting that. Do we really care that he is going to beat Mahal and move on? Does this solidify him as a bad ass, someone that everyoen else should fear? No. Maybe this will help him become more complex than what he is now, but I doubt it.

Chris JerichoChris Jericho's Hightlight Reel

What I Liked:

Chris Jericho is better as a heel at times. This is not the right time to be a heel for a few reasons. It is so much easier to be hated than loved, and Chris does a great job getting attention from the fans however he is booked. There are always so many young heels trying to make an impact. The picture gets crowded. He is complete and extremely talented, and his comedy is still fresh. Jericho makes fun at Vickie, which is an easy way to get the fans over for you. After the end of the segment, Ziggler came out and attacked Jericho, which adds more fuel to the fire for their match at Summerslam. This was a great way to show the similarities of Jericho and Ziggler, two guys in different parts of their career. I like the fact that Y2J is back, but they need to do even more. Bring back the countdown, Raw Is Jericho, and really give this some steam into Summerslam. They can easily steal the show.
