Isenberg and Killam Predict WWE SummerSlam: What Should and Will Happen

The ‘Stache vs. The Cash

Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow

That billing is glorious. Look at it – take in the majesty that is “Stache vs. Cash”. That’s the best damn idea we have ever come up with. Ever.

Isenberg: I have loved this feud from the very beginning because it is two younger stars helping each other get over. The WWE fans think veterans are always needed to boost a young guy’s stock, but this proves you wrong. Sandow and Rhodes will end in some sort of count-out or disqualification, thus adding more interest to their feud in the coming weeks/months. There will be a time, and it could be next month at Night of Champions, where the briefcase will be up for grabs between Sandow and Rhodes. Expect a great match and a potential walk out from Sandow who will be on the brink of losing.

Killam: As I not-so-subtly alluded to in the heading for this match, Cody Rhodes is the best. Not “best in the world”, or even “best of the scorned, crybaby Money in the Bank losers”. He’s just the best. Not in any objective, identifiable way, he is just simply…the best. He’s my guilty pleasure in professional wrestling. The guy who isn’t over, but I want him to be, and I will act like he is against all logic and reason. Which is why I love this entire angle; I just wish WWE crowds did too. That aforementioned “logic and reason” says Sandow should win this match, because he’s Mr. Money in the Bank. History says otherwise. Cody takes it, and the feud continues to play out on Raw and Smackdown.

Note: I think we can all agree a Night of Champions “Briefcase vs. Mustache” match is MONEY.
