The Rock Returns to WWE Raw

wwe raw reaction Rusev and Lana come out and run down the United States. Out of nowhere, The Rock returns and comes to the ring to an explosive reaction. The People’s Champion begins to talk and does his usual comedic act. The man is holding the fans in the palm of his hand and gives a rub to a young guy.

I loved this segment because it did more than just give a nostalgia act. The Rock is always entertaining and will always be a personal favorite. Rusev desperately needed this. He needed something different than mediocre guys to pick on. The Rock means instant importance and I am happy WWE booked it like this. What will be next for Rusev? He still has a match against Show, but maybe he goes against a John Cena. They need Rusev to get THAT BIG MATCH. All in all, The Rock still has it. He will never lose it.

Paige and Alicia Fox defeated Emma and AJ Lee

Emma does all of the offense, as she looks pretty impressive in the ring. Fox gets taken down and then AJ Lee yells to Emma about pinning Fox. She gets too upset and leaves. Paige gets into the ring and kicks Emma. She hits Rampaige for the win.

I get what WWE is trying to do. They are making AJ Lee all by herself, with nobody to help her. I wonder if WWE has a diva in mind to come to her aid. Will it be Charlotte? NXT Women’s champ can help the WWE Divas champ until she finally drops the title and gets her big win on the main roster. Charlotte has done all she can in NXT. She desperately needs to come up to the main roster and her last name will ultimately make her a face, whether WWE likes it or not.

The Miz defeated Sheamus

A non-title match, so I expected The Miz to pick up the win here. It was a hard fought bout, one that Sheamus pretty much came back from. The Miz steals a victory and it was definitely the right choice. This is the only way for me to really buy Miz beating Sheamus. I wonder if WWE has better talent to feud with Sheamus, though. Who would you rather see?

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
