Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction “Hardy’s and Havok Highlight Night”

Tommy Dreamer and Devon defeated Bram and Magnus

impact wrestling reactionBram and Magnus control the beginning of the match. Dreamer hits both men with a trash can lid. He throws more weapons into the ring and the hardcore action gets intense. Magnus hits a drop toe hold and Dreamer hits right into the chair. Bram and Magnus wedges a trash can in the ropes and bash Dreamer in the head. Finally, Devon comes in and knocks both men out. He hits Bram below the belt and the uses a chair to hit in. Devon is the only man standing and heads to grab a table.

Magnus uses a Kendo stick on Dreamer. Devon gets a few shots to himself. Devon throws Bram through a table that is set up on the outside. Dreamer hits Magus from behind and hits a DDT for the win.

A surprising win for the ECW legends, as Dreamer and Devon pick up the victory over Bram and Magnus. This is definitely not the end of this feud because the young guys need to get the rub from them. Magnus and Bram have been booked so poorly since Magnus lost the world championship.

Magnus has some of the Jack Swagger effect. He became champion, maybe a little too soon, and has fallen down the roster. He is still a critical part of the company’s show each week, but the storyline has been simplified with very little creativity. I like that they are trying to take out the “old” guys, but there is not many of them to focus on after these two. It has a short shelf life.

Rockstar Spud Unleashes on EC3

Rockstar Spud comes out and talks about his career to TNA. He talks about Dixie Carter welcoming him in to the company. He then focuses his attention to Ethan Carter and calls him a douchebag. Jeremy Borash shakes his hand and says that he is with Spud all the way. Out comes Ethan Carter III and Tyrus.

Carter calls him pathetic and then heads into the ring. He tells him to apologize and Tyrus grabs him. Carter tells Jeremy Borash to move and he gets slapped. Spud jumps EC3 and both men trap him. Eric Young comes out with a chair and both men retreat.

This feud seems intriguing to me, even though thee is SO MUCH disadvantage of size for Spud. Is Eric Young the right guy to back him? I do not think so, but he is certainly a fan favorite. Whether you can suspend your belief or not, Spud is hot and EC3 is getting so much heat from the crowd. He is such a natural heel and this feud has some potential. Can it benefit Tyrus at all, who I see is the wild card.
