Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction “Hardy’s and Havok Highlight Night”

 Havok defeated Gail Kim

impact wrestling reactionHavok throws Gail Kim around and then tosses her head first into the ring post. Kim punches her a few times in and hits her in the face. She throws Kim on the ramp and drags her up it. Kim kicks her in the head to get some offense. She hits more kicks and Havok catches her. She throws Kim off the ramp and this ends the segment. The match never officially gets underway until we get back from commercial break.

Kim continues to get dominated with a side suplex. Kim tries to roll her up and Havok misses an elbow drop. Running dropkick and a body dive gets Kim going a bit. Havok punches her and she falls to the outside. Havok catches her on her shoulders and throws her face first into the steel steps. Havok breaks up the ten count and goes after Gail. She kicks her in the stomach and then Gail locks in a chokehold with her legs.

Havok breaks it up with a side slam. Gail continues to avoid moves and kicks her repeatedly. Gail hits a cross body for a two count. Havok blocks the Eat Defeat and hits her finisher. Kim kicks out and Havok is shocked. Gail hits Eat Defeat out of nowhere. Havok hits a chokeslam and this match is over.

TNA hit the jackpot with the booking of this match. Gail Kim fought extremely hard over and over again. Havok looked great and the booking of Gail Kim made complete sense.  She came so close so many times and used her speed to get some offense in. It looked believeable at times that a championship change could happen. They gave the Knockouts plenty of time and none of it was wasted. This was a great spotlight on what TNA does right.

Bobby Roode defeated MVP

Roode and MVP try to feel each other out in the beginning. MVP hits a double underhook suplex for a two count. MVP continues to work at his neck and then Roode fights out. MVP takes him to the outside and throws him into the rail. Roode regains his composure and chops MVP in the chest. MVP hits a big knee to his face.

MVP locks in a headlock and Roode fights out. Roode is able to hit a superplex and MVP kicks out. MVP reverses Roode and sets up for a big boot. Roode ducks and rolls up MVP for two. MVP hits Roode in the face with a boot. Roode reverses MVP and hits a Roode Bomb for the win.

I was surprised at how short this match was. It was only given about eight minutes of time and should have been at least doubled. Like I have mentioned in the past, MVP still has not “WOWed” me in the company. He has not had a huge standout match, but this was one of his better. I would have rather seen Roode control the offense more since he just beat a beast like Lashley. Anyways, who is next for Bobby Roode?
