Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “WWE TLC Could Be Great or Bad”

John Cena vs. Seth Rollins Promo

WWE Smackdown starts off with John Cena and Seth Rollins talking about WWE TLC. Seth Rollins comes out and talks about how sick Cena’s act is and that Sunday he will set a new standard. Both men go back and forth, stating their claim and talking about how Cena is not ready to move aside. The end segment has Cena saying he is going to kick Rollins’ ass.

Seth Rollins has come a long way since his first promos in WWE. He has more articulation and more intensity throughout his sentences. I really like how John Cena has emphasized on being serious in this feud, ever since the stipulation of him potentially losing his championship match against Brock Lesnar.

Although I really do not like a Tables Match, because they all are planned the same, I do think this feud has done really good things for both guys in a down period in WWE.

The Uso’s defeated Tyson Kidd and Cesaro

Jimmy and Jey Uso pick up a win heading into WWE TLC. After a commercial break, Cesaro takes control. Cesaro catches Jimmy in the Cesaro Swing, then Kidd kicks him in the head. Jey is sent to the floor as well. Tyson Kidd kicks Jimmy a few times and then Cesaro hits a foot stomp. Jimmy ducks a move and is able to tag his brother in. Jey hits a springboard crossbody and some uppercuts, then he follows with a Samoan drop and a splash into the corner. Jey kicks Cesaro in the face and Jimmy hits a top rope splash off the tag for the win.

This was a really good tag team match and was something that I found building blocks in. I find it ironic that Tyson Kidd and Cesaro are two EXCELLENT performers in the ring and are tagging together. They continue to lose and can be frustrating for some hardcore fans. Where is the silver lining here?

Jimmy and Jey continue to be the most consistent tag team in WWE. I also like that WWE continues to utilize Naomi in their feud. A depth in detail has been a constant problem in storylines involving tag teams. I think she needs to be seen near the ring with her husband on a week to week basis. It would be a good fit to continue their feud with Miz and Mizdow.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
