Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “WWE TLC Could Be Great or Bad”

Big E defeated Goldust

wwe smackdown Not much to note of here aside from Big E controlling most of the match and picking up a victory to push their “feud” into WWE TLC.

This match will be on the pre-show, but I already have a few issues with how they are building this feud. I am all for building depth in the tag team division. The New Day could be good.

It is strange, however, that they are dominating Gold and Stardust on a weekly basis. Why do you need a tag team match at WWE TLC now? The heels have yet to get the upper hand and have absolutely no steam right now, which I can’t stand.

Nikki Bella defeated Alicia Fox

Nikki gets taken down quickly by Fox, with some kicks and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Fox connects with a Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Nikki counters with a side suplex and then is able to hit Rack Attack for the win.

Quick match for the Divas. Nikki picks up a predictable win and will head to WWE TLC to fight AJ Lee. I would have loved to see AJ Lee here, coming out and potentially dropping a “pipe bomb” on her opponent. This could be much more interesting, personal and intense.

Instead of that, WWE simply gives the rematch to AJ Lee without much else aside from simply wanting her title back.

Jack Swagger defeated Titus O’Neil

Jack Swagger works quickly on Titus, countering after a few offensive moves. Swagger hits a side suplex and then is able to kick him in the face. Titus counters and throws Swagger into the ring post. Titus ties him up in the ropes, but Swagger counters and is able to make him tap out to the Patriot Lock.

Well, Rusev comes out and taunts Swagger with the WWE United States Championship. They know that there is not too much more to do aside from this. Rusev has no shot of losing on Sunday and I feel bad for both guys. I enjoy their contests, but it seems like Rusev is stuck in a spot with nobody to work with. Who should he battle next? It can’t be Roman Reigns, can it?

If Rusev vs. Reigns happens, who wins? Reigns can’t lose upon return. Rusev can’t lose and stop his momentum. It is a lose/lose situation.
