Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “Quit Whining, Daniel Bryan is Fine”

Paige & AJ Lee vs Summer Rae & Alicia Fox

wwe smackdown Alicia hits AJ Lee a few times with some elbows and then tags in Summer Rae. Paige gets the tag and attacks with some vicious clotheslines. Paige does most of the work offensively and locks in the PTO for the win.

Another quick match with the Divas and a win by the tag team of Paige and AJ. This is a dream indie tag team we are seeing. I do feel they are being handled improperly right now because their feud with The Bellas is about what? EVERY Diva storyline should be focused around the title, that is it.

They only have one thing to fight for in that Division and for it to be wasted during WrestleMania isn’t a good call creatively. When was the last really GOOD moment for the Divas Championship on the grand stafe? WrestleMania 22?

Mark Henry Returns/Reigns Attacks

The World’s Strongest Man returns on Smackdown. Roman Reigns comes out and addresses the comments from Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Mark Henry interrupts and begins to talk about being disrespected.

Henry goes on to say Reigns needs to earn the respect of the guys in the back and the fans, especially since he has no identity. Henry tries to tell him that Brock does not respect him and Reigns tries to shrug it off. Henry grabs his arm and Roman Reigns connects with a Superman Punch. As Henry is on the outside, Reigns gets fired up in the ring and proceeds to spear him through the barricade. He says “I can’t” a few times and then says “he will.”

This was a really good segment for Roman Reigns tonight. Think of Brock Lesnar’s path last year. He went through Big Show and Mark Henry. Roman Reigns went through Big Show and will now go through Mark Henry. I am a bigger Mark Henry fan than I am of Big Show. He is a student of the game and just gets it all around. Henry may be past his prime, but he is still very valuable to young talent.

Roman Reigns showed aggression and passion tonight. He continues to develop and is ready for WrestleMania. All I want to see is him and Brock face to face and to get some physicality. Just a little would be enough.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
