Tyson Kidd and Cesaro vs. The Ascension

wwe raw Kidd gets taken down hard by Viktor and Konnor comes in to lay the power down. He chokes him in the corner and hits some big boots. Viktor tags in and hits some uppercuts, followed by a body slam. He applies a headlock and then another uppercut. Konnor hits a suplex for a two count.

Cesaro hits a back body drop, an uppercut three times into the corner. He hits five more and a clothesline for two. Gutwrench suplex and the former champions get going. Kidd hits a sunset flip to the outside. Cesaro Swing and then a dropkick from Kidd gives them the win.

Man, Cesaro and Kidd are very entertaining. I love watching them work their craft and put on entertaining matches. Cesaro goes from 0-60 in about 3 seconds. Tyson is the perfect fit for Cesaro, utilizing his quick offense and exciting moves to mesh well and consistently. This was a really good match for the former champions, even though I wish it was a bit longer.

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

Kane announces that if Ambrose wins, it will be a Fatal Four Way at WWE Payback. This helps Ambrose get going, tossing Seth to the outside. Dean Ambrose applies a submission hold and then a suplex. Seth Rollins kicks him in the stomach and then punches him into the corner. Dean punches him in the corner and then whips him into the corner with a chop to his chest. Seth hits a scoop slam and a knee to the temple. Dean is able to hip toss Seth to the outside, heading to a commercial break.

After the break, both men go back and forth with Seth Rollins hitting a huge DDT and then Ambrose sending him to the outside. Seth leaps from the ropes and hits a kick from the top to his head for a two count. Dean clothesline him to the outside. Seth counters with a powerbomb to the barricade and the count-out begins. Dean makes the count at 9 and he kicks Dean in the back of the head. Seth hits a spinning heel kick, but he bounces off the ropes and hits a big clothesline. Out comes J and J Security. Dean Ambrose rolls him up and pins the champion.

Fantastic. Stellar. Intense. Skilled. All of these words talk about Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins tonight. This could be one of the best matches of the year. The speed and the precision of each move was just fantastic. I love that WWE adds Ambrose because it continues to stack the deck against the champion. Seth Rollins needs to show he can beat them all and he will most likely pin Dean Ambrose at WWE Payback. Go back and watch this match. It was simply pure and incredible. WOW!
