Ryback Gets A Push on Smackdown

wwe smackdown The WWE Intercontinental Champion interrupts Seth Rollins in the beginning of the night, talking about how he is a real champion. This leads to a match between him and Kane.

Ryback wins this match via disqualification, thanks to Big Show interfering and getting the upper hand on the champion. We can talk all we want about Big Show and Ryback, but where is The Miz?

Looking at this odd feud between these three guys, there is NO WAY Ryback loses. With that being said, I would really appreciate if WWE would make Ryback evolve more. They have given him free reign on the mic more frequently, but the involvement of The Miz (who is a naturally hated guy) can only do more for Ryback continuing to get over.

The Miz should be the focus with Ryback, not Big Show. This was a positive night for Ryback, nonetheless, but I wish there was more than just the usual Big Show interference and him laying out the smaller opponent. We just know what to expect on a weekly basis in Big Show feuds.

How Good Can Lucha Dragons Be?

8 man tag team match on Smackdown pitted Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons against The New Day and Bo Dallas? Likely, the faces won. I enjoyed the pace, energy and time this match had. It never lagged and something was always happening. It leads me to my next question: How good can Kalisto and Sin Cara be?

Sin Cara, version 1 and 2, has always had this cloud of doubt around him. Alas, he has not been injured and is putting on some of his best work since coming to WWE. Why? Kalisto is the reason why. This guy is stellar. He has an incredible look and demeanor in the ring. I have one worry. That worry is mic work.

With WWE so consumed with character development and progression, this could hurt such a talented tag team. They can wrestle with the best of them, but will they have a consistent path of success without speaking much?

I am rooting for them. They need these guys in a tag team division that goes up and down so frequently. They can bring a level of consistency to it, whether they are champions or not.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school.
