Ethan Carter III vs. Ken Anderson

impact wrestling Anderson starts off with a flurry of moves, headbutts and right hands to the former champion. EC3 fires back and hits some chops in the corner. EC3 and Anderson brawl to the outside and hit each other with some clotheslines Tyrus knocks Anderson off the ring apron. EC3 hits a suplex to Anderson and then hits a high knee. EC3 hits a suplex and then applies a headlock to slow down the pace.

Both men go back and forth with shots until EC3 is hit with a neckbreaker. He follows up with the Green Bay Plunge. Anderson with a Swanton Bomb off the top rope for a two count. He looks to set up a Mic Check, but EC3 escapes.EC3 is able to roll out of the ring and Earl Hebner gets into a argument with Tyrus. Anderson attacks Tyrus with a chair, which allows EC3 to hit a low blow to Anderson. EC3 ends up being victorious in a great back and forth match.

Another night of really good wrestling, but it was nice to find out some direction in this series. The round of 16 will take place in India, which makes the event more intriguing. They should NOT give it to Shera just because they will be in India. I think you need to have a crash course with Hardy and Carter. It started there and needs to end there.

Impact delivered in many ways for me tonight and continues to be a very good wrestling program with little talking. Now, make sure the Round of 16 isn’t such a cluster… you know the rest.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
