Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Keep Reigns Away From Cena”

Win One, Lose One

wwe rawKalisto and Sin Cara paired off in single’s action against Kofi Kingston and Big E. Kalisto picked up a win and Cara suffered a loss. To continue with this feud, WWE seems to be giving The Lucha Dragons a full push towards the top. The best part about this was how absolutely golden Xavier Woods was on commentary. The guy knows what to say, when to say it and how to say it. His talent with The New Day keeps them going.

Think about it like this: we have seen so many Kofi Kingston matches over the years and are always entertained by what he can do in the ring. Now, he has an incredible mouthpiece to make sure we are not complacent in our views with him in the ring. We know what to expect, yet are not bored and want to watch. That is good stuff and the makings of a fantastic mouthpiece. The matches were average, but Woods was great.

Classic Big Show

MizTV is a holiday version with a bunch of jabronis in the ring. Included are guys like R-Truth, Zack Ryder and then The Big Show. Big Show comes out and says he is going to win the Royal Rumble and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. He then KO punches some guys and out comes Ryback.

Ryback and Big Show have a quick match until Ryback hits a spinebuster and sets up a Meathook clothesline. Big Show escapes and walks out on the match.

So you have Big Show be so tough and dominant before the match only to walk out on Ryback? That makes no sense to me. Also, I understand that Royal Rumble is a match custom fitted for Big Show. Does him coming out with this group of guys make you believe that he has any chance of winning? No. Plain and simple, WWE uses Big Show well once a year and it is usually around this time. If you want believability, make him a giant again. But, realistically he won’t be like that again.
