Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Can We Call It Mid-Card WrestleMania?”

Triple H, Dean Ambrose and The Wyatt Family

With WWE Roadblock being exactly what the name is, Raw focused on Dean Ambrose and Triple H. The main event saw Ambrose vs. Wyatt, which ended in the traditional Wyatt Family beating. As Triple H made his way to the ring, Bray looked at him and the title and walked away. Triple H stripped the announce table and got into the ring. He ended up getting blindsided and hit with Dirty Deeds. Dean stands tall to end Raw, 5 days before WWE Roadblock.

Once again, I am not completely sold on WWE Roadblock. If Fastlane was not a big enough of a cluster, you add this event that could completely change WrestleMania. Unless WWE wants to do a Fatal Four Way and have Ambrose as champion heading in, I do not see the point. Does it also devalue the championship if Ambrose wins Saturday only to potentially drop it a few weeks after? I am going to be watching Roadblock very closely because I really do not get this. Is it just to get people to sign up for the Network? You are THAT desperate where you have to do something so close to an event that you want to sell 100,000 seats at?

Kudos to Triple H and Dean Ambrose for us forgetting about Roman Reigns. Wait, that is what they are trying to do right? They are also making sure we care about The Wyatt Family by having them in the main event, even if we know how every Wyatt Family main event ends.

At the end of this night, WWE is doing a MUCH better job making the mid card matches feel more important. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? You tell me @JoshIsenberg4 on Twitter or at the comment section below.
