Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “Producing Two Hours Without World Championships”

Charlotte and Becky Lynch face off on Smackdown in a highly competitive bout. With Becky getting the opportunity to face Charlotte and picking up a DQ victory thanks to Dana Brooke’s involvement, it was nice to see her back at a high level. I never fully understood why WWE went to Natalya and not Becky or Sasha after WrestleMania.

A thought I had when looking at these women, even though Natalya still came out to make the save on Becky, is what if WWE gives us another Triple Threat Match for the Women’s Championship? This time, it would be at SummerSlam and a returning Sasha Banks could really make her presence felt after a few months of obscurity. Would anyone actually be against that match one more time?

The Dudley Boyz defeated The Golden Truth

Another night focusing on tag team wrestling and the lower end of the card features Bubba and Devon picking up a victory over R-Truth and Goldust. With Fandango and Tyler Breeze at ringside, they were able to provide enough distractions for the heels to pick up the win. 

Well, nothing too much to discuss here aside from ANOTHER week of this odd and random storyline. Do we know what the point is yet of having these two team? Are they trying to make them the refreshing comedy act between important storylines? If they are, it isn’t making me entertained.

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
