Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “Surprising Switch for Survivor Series”

James Ellsworth will be a mascot for Smackdown Live at Survivor Series. Okay, that is not the worst thing I have seen recently. With Baron Corbin out, who would replace him? After a six man tag team match that had The Wyatt Family defeat Ellsworth, Ambrose and Kane a decision had to be made. Daniel Bryan picks Shane McMahon to replace Baron Corbin.

Again, I am not sure what the reasoning is behind the change. I love watching Shane compete because you always wonder what he is going to do. In a match like this, he will not have to do too much and will be remembered for whatever spot he wants to execute. Why? Why did WWE make this change? It surprises me and shows me that Smackdown is really lacking in main event stars. I would never have guessed Shane McMahon would have more matches in 2016 than The Undertaker, Daniel Bryan and others. Surprising is the word, but I will add optimism. Let’s see the bigger picture and see how WWE gives us a moment where we say “ahh, now I get it.”

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
