The past winners of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal have come from all types of backgrounds. A former giant who held world champions, a mid-card star looking to grab that brass ring and a rookie looking to make a name for himself can all call themselves past winners. This year is all about Braun Strowman, a guy who should have had a better and bigger spotlight on him. He has been battling with main event talent since December, given us great matches and shown us that he is the most unique big man WWE has had in years.

Another choice could be someone like Sami Zayn, who has fought through so much to get on the card. He is a rare breed, someone so gifted and talented in the ring with a Daniel Bryan type of connection with the crowd. I doubt he wins a match like this, but you never know.

What about a wild card like Dolph Ziggler? Would WWE want Mojo Rawley to benefit from a win like this, especially with the crossover potential with NFL star Rob Gronkowski?

Lastly, they do not have enough “legit” talent in this match to make it part of the real card. I’m glad they are pushing this to the Kickoff show and give this time to a championship match. If I am WWE, I let Braun Strowman eliminate EVERYONE.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
