The Opinions on Ring of Honor And Independent Wrestling From a WWE Fan

Fans of Ring of Honor crap over WWE more than the other way around. I find it crazy because WWE is more like Ring of Honor now than ever before. What they are seeing is “THEIR” guys on a bigger stage, bigger production value, making more money and still giving us pieces of what we loved back in their ROH days. They have to change to be successful in a brand bigger.

WWE makes money. Ring of Honor makes stars and have fans who help those stars head to WWE. WWE is putting both business pieces together to look towards the future. Even if the product on Monday and Tuesday nights suck at times, they are still making money. Fans will still watch and fans will still purchase merchandise.

I can’t stand when wrestling matches are spot fests. “No selling” has gotten to an unrealistic point all over professional wrestling. Some do it more, some do it less. ROH and indy wrestling is more about everyone “getting their moves in.” I know you can see this too. The matches in Ring of Honor will always be booked differently than WWE. They have to. WWE has one way of going and ROH has another. Neither are wrong in their ideas. They just have different ideas.

I, like EVERYONE ELSE, will criticize things I do not like. Do I like The Young Bucks? Not really, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t talented as hell. It’s like saying I do not like Tom Brady because I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Or, maybe I boo the ridiculously overrated Alexander Ovechkin because he cannot win when it matters. Do not get me started on that quack Draymond Green. Skilled, yes, but he is a jackass who needs to shut his mouth. Does that mean he isn’t talented and that I need to keep my opinions to myself? Some guys just do not do it for me and some I love that you hate. Preferences and choices.
