Isenberg Reacts: Previewing WWE SummerSlam From The RAW Side

The Demon King will make his return to WWE 364 days after we saw him last. How did this happen? WWE decided to go with a full Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor match on WWE RAW, with Bray getting a win and then pouring red paint (maybe, it was supposed to be blood?) over a beaten and battered Finn Balor. Enraged at this, Finn asked Kurt for a rematch at SummerSlam and said he is bringing his demons with him as well.

Not a bad execution tonight and was different, but I question the full match we got with these two guys. I would’ve rather seen more of an attack from Bray Wyatt backstage, laying out Balor and talking about how his demons made him do it. Finn, upset and talking about the beating with the doctors or even Charley Caruso, could’ve done the same hinting about the return of The Demon King. Either way, these two guys had 3-4 weeks to give us a reason to care and they did. Both men know how to work and SummerSlam could be the beginning of the resurrection of Finn Balor’s potential championship run. This might be the easiest pick for WrestleRumble on who wins, as I cannot see a way that Finn Balor loses when the paint comes back on.
