#4.) Adam Cole‘s final indie opponent

It was May of 2017 and Adam Cole was ending his long run in the independent scene. His final opponent was none other than Sami Callihan at PWG Head Like A Cole. Adam Cole was a legend of PWG and many were surprised that Callihan was the opponent of his choice.

Either way, Callihan knew that it was Cole’s farewell and went all out to give the fans a spectacle of a match. It was incredible, it was brutal and in many ways it was perfect. While some argued that it wasn’t as good as their Iron Man match (which is a fair argument), but it’s one of those situations where it’s too close to call.

Either way, it worked out as a perfect farewell for Cole, who went out on his back. Fans seemed shocked and delusioned about Callihan picking up the win.
