After having a short reign as WWE Champion in early 2006, Edge was determined to prove himself against the hardcore legend Mick Foley, who he had been feuding with. They would face off at WrestleMania in a Hardcore match. In a bout that would steal the show, Edge proved that he belonged with the best as he both took and dished out punishment during the match. There was blood – lots of it.
The shocking finish of the match would see Edge spear Mick Foley through a flaming table to pin him.
