#3.) Winning his first WWE Championship
Edge was the winner of the first-ever Money In The Bank match and he held the briefcase up from April until January. After John Cena survived the Elimination Chamber match with the WWE title still intact, Vince McMahon came out to announce that the night wasn’t over for Cena.
He then announced that Edge would be cashing in his MITB briefcase and The Rated-R Superstar took advantage of a bloodied, beaten and battered Cena, hitting two spears to win his first of 11 world championships with WWE. Though the reign was a short one, it was incredible validation for Edge to earn the top prize of the company.
