#3.) D-Von Dudley

2015 saw The Dudley Boyz return for one last nostalgia run. It was good to see them back, but it was a creatively frustrating period of time for the kayfabe half-brothers, whose role was essentially just putting over younger stars. While that wasn’t a problem in itself, they were only losing and Vince McMahon reportedly shot down quite a few creative ideas from Bubba Ray Dudley, including the introduction of Bully Ray.

Ultimately, they chose not to renew their year-long contract as performers and said goodbye to the WWE Universe. Bubba Ray Dudley left to pursue a role in ROH and other outside ventures, while D-Von chose to stay in WWE, working as a backstage agent. His veteran experience would certainly prove valuable, especially for tag team matches.
