It all started when The New Day led SmackDown Live‘s takeover of RAW. It was titled as “Under Siege”. The New Day even wound up costing Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins their RAW Tag Titles against The Bar. This would lead to a grudge dream match at Survivor Series where The New Day took on The Shield.
It was a cracker of a PPV opener and set the tone in the RAW vs SmackDown Live battle. The Shield represented the red brand and they would pick up the victory in an instant classic. They gave RAW the advantage to start off that night. Sometimes, dream matches deliver!
