According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer – who was on Sun Night’s Main Event on TSN –  Brock Lesnar’s contract with the WWE isn’t in a state of flux like the company would have us believe.

Of late, Lesnar’s future with the company has been incorporated into storylines to make it seem like he’s a want away Superstar waiting to jump ship to the UFC for a big paycheck. However, Meltzer revealed that Lesnar has not signed anything concrete with the UFC and despite the WWE making it seem like his HIAC cameo was a sudden decision, that plans were always in place for him to interfere at the event to set up the angle for the show in Saudi Arabia later in the year.

It has since been announced that Lesnar will take on WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match at the Crown Jewel show. However, he does fully intend to fight Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Title sometime in early 2019 when his USADA suspension is up.
