Brian Pillman Jr. posted on Instagram to celebrate a recent accomplishment, as the young professional wrestler received his first “This is awesome!” chant from fans. It came from a comedy spot where multiple wrestlers, and even the referee, were put in a sleeper hold. Despite the live crowd enjoying what they saw, not everyone was happy with the spot.
A wrestling fan was critical of the spot and posted on Instagram, “I like you Brian, but come on. This is just dumb. You’re a Pillman, you’re better than this.” Pillman Jr., who certainly would know what it means to represent his family more than some random guy, defiantly responded “My father literally wrestled a giant fucking pencil.”
Score one for Jr. here. Brian isn’t exaggerating when he said his father wrestled a pencil, either. If you’ve never seen the video before, you owe it to yourself to watch it below.
