Excalibur To Join NJPW Commentary Crew In December

NJPW revealed that Excalibur will be joining NJPW in a commentary role for the last three days of the World Tag League in December. Excalibur, a very popular independent talent, will be the latest to hop into the English commentary seat with Kevin Kelly. Below is NJPW’s official announcement as well as Excalibur’s comments on joining the team later this month.

Excalibur joins the ranks of “The Genius” Lanny Poffo who had a run with Kevin Kelly in NJPW last month as co-commentator.

Dreamer v. Pillman ‘Singapore Cane Match’ Announced For MLW

MLW made the following announcement regarding their Zero Hour card on December 14th in Miami:
BRIAN PILLMAN JR. VS. TOMMY DREAMER SINGAPORE CANE MATCH IN MIAMI FOR MLW FUSION TV TAPING DECEMBER 14TH
MIAMI – Major League Wrestling today announced a Singapore Cane Match: Tommy Dreamer vs. Brian Pillman Jr. for Friday night December 14thZero Hour card at the Miami Scottish Rite Temple. Both December 13 & 14th cards are FUSION TV tapings for beIN SPORTS.
Buy General Admission tickets starting at $15 at http://www.MLWTickets.com. For just $20 fans can see both the December 13th (Never Say Never) and December 14th (Zero Hour) shows as part of the holiday combo ticket.
Tommy Dreamer is a man whose foundation is built on respect.  Respect for those that came before him like Terry Funk and Dusty Rhodes.  Men that inspired Dreamer to pursue his passion and be a pro wrestler.  These men set Dreamer on his path to becoming recognized as a hardcore legend.  So when the young and obnoxious Brian Pillman Jr. along with the Hart Foundation pummeled the legendary Kevin Sullivan backstage on an episode of MLW FUSION this past summer, Dreamer took exception.
When the Hart Foundation countered with disrespectful statements about Dreamer exploiting legends for his own gain, Dreamer could take no more.  Soon thereafter, Pillman and Dreamer would square off before a sold out crowd in Chicago at Cicero Stadium.  The outcome: shocking.  Left with massive welts and contusions, Dreamer had been savagely attacked by Pillman’s ivory cane.
With the brash Brian Pillman Jr. seemingly emboldened by these events, Dreamer demanded payback.  His solution?  A Singapore Cane match!  League officials worked with the Hart Foundation sign the match for weeks and today it becomes official. Brian Pillman Jr. will meet the “Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer in what should be a violent affair in Miami on Friday night December 14th.
