It’s not just wrestling fans that are disappointed by the removal of LAX from two matches against the NXT contracted tag team of the Street Profits. The current IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions were removed from their EVOLVE 117 and 118 matches after IMPACT didn’t want to see their wrestlers lose a match (according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter).
Now one half of the tag team has spoken up about the removal. Santana said that the match would happen “in a perfect world.” He went on to state that “it would’ve definitely been cool, especially for the fans, but wrestling has proven to us once again that there’s still much more work that needs to be done, in order for all of us us to truly enjoy the endless possibilities.”
