We now have another update on the Street Profits‘ WWE status, and it’s certainly an unexpected one.
We haven’t seen Montez Ford or Angelo Dawkins on WWE programming since losing their shot at the Tag Team Titles against the Wyatt Sicks. The duo would appear in action on Main Event a couple of weeks later, but haven’t been seen since.
Many assumed this was due to one or both of the Street Profits being injured, but it was reported earlier this month that they were taken off the road to freshen them up for an eventual return.
We now have a new status update regarding the Street Profits, and it’s a very weird one that we can’t imagine many would see coming.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the Street Profits are slated to work the WWE NXT Live Events later this weekend. This would effectively rule out either man appearing in the Royal Rumble this weekend.
The Street Profits haven’t worked a match for the NXT brand since September 2024, when they competed against Fraxiom for the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
