Update on Nikki Cross’ Status After Superstar Shake-Up

This year’s post-WrestleMania call ups have been a little spread out, to put it likely. Back in December, a group of NXT regulars became nomads on the main roster, roaming between both brands as free agents. While this made the post-Mania RAW a little less exciting, it was certainly a way to introduces some of these wrestlers to a wider audience. This free agency ended with the Superstar Shake-Up for most stars, but one remains in this uncertain status.

Nikki Cross is not officially signed to either brand after this week’s shows. While some stars only received their brand switches via WWE.com, Nikki was not on either official list and still doesn’t have a home. It’s believed backstage that she will be on RAW, but that doesn’t appear to be set in stone as of yet.

Another star that doesn’t currently have a home is Bray Wyatt, who’s being slowly reintroduced via mysterious bird puppets and laughing dolls in promos that have aired on both shows. Could the former Sanity member be involved with Bray’s new character? That would certainly explain her absence so far, but only time will tell.
