After suffering a brutal injury an IMPACT’s Rebellion PPV this past Sunday, Wrestling Inc has confirmed that new world champion Brian Cage will not be appearing at the TV tapings scheduled for this weekend in Philadelphia. Cage was also not at tapings this past Monday at Toronto, putting his immediate future in Impact into doubt.
Impact has not released word on the status of the IMPACT World Championship at this time. Brian Cage remains the champion, but it’s possible that the company may initiate a way to strip him for the title if he’ll be on the bench for an extended period of time.
As previously reported, IMPACT’s Philly tapings will feature RVD taking on Tommy Dreamer and a Demon Collar match between Rosemarry and Su Yung
