Wrestling can sometimes be an unfriendly business. Fans berate wrestlers and argue over character inconsistencies while wrestlers fire back with go nowhere teases and snarky responses. Sometimes, this relationship goes too far, as it did at an ROH show earlier this month. A fan taunted the heel Allure faction only to find himself backstage in a confrontation with Bully Ray. Both Bully Ray and ROH released statements on the incident, but at least one WWE star thought that the fan deserved more.
As described in the Twitter thread below, the ROH fan was contacted by Kevin Owens via DM. The two talked back and forth, leading to Kevin offering him a set of tickets to an upcoming SmackDown taping. The fan was in the crowd this week, snapping a photo and preserving the moment on social media.
