Fans that were originally scheduled to attend a WWE RAW television taping in Glasgow, Scotland this November received an email noting the event would no longer be televised, and now it appears WWE might be turning another event into a ‘super show’ with both brands.
Last night, it was reported that the SSE Hydro arena in Glasgow changed the television tapings on Monday, November 11 to a non-televised live event. It remains unclear as to when WWE would record that week’s episode of RAW, but a new update would seem to indicate WWE will host another ‘Supershow’ style TV taping in Manchester, England the week prior.
A new listing on the Manchester Arena website now lists both RAW and SmackDown branded talent as appearing on the show on November 8; a separate WWE live event that same day at the SSE Wembley Arena in London, England was recently cancelled as well. WWE has not confirmed plans for the ‘super show’ format yet; fans looking for refunds to the Glasgow event can request their money back through 9 am local time on July 28.
WWE’s tour of the UK was originally announced as taking place from November 5-11. Wrestlezone has reached out to WWE for a comment or clarification on the event schedule this November and will update accordingly.
