Seth Rollins Pulled From Team Hogan At WWE Crown Jewel, AOP Signs With RAW

Seth Rollins has been officially been pulled from the Team Hogan vs. Team Flair match at WWE Crown Jewel. Rollins was initially scheduled to be captain of Team Hogan, but was removed due to defending his WWE Universal Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match on the show. Rollins’ status had been up in the air for most of the week, but McKenzie Mitchell confirmed the move in a breaking news video (seen below) from WWE Now.

In addition, McKenzie Mitchell also confirmed AOP are no longer in the free agent pool, as they have signed with the RAW brand. Mitchell noted the pair had been in negotiations with USA and FOX, and cited “rumors of their return to the MMA world.”

The final bit of news came as Mitchell confirmed the Intercontinental Championship match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Roman Reigns match will kick off tomorrow night’s SmackDown broadcast. Nakamura and Reigns had gone back and forth on social media, and the title match was announced earlier today.
