See you later, Sin Cara.
The former WWE star went on Instagram to announce that he officially changed his ring name to Cinta de Oro to honor a Mexican luchadore from the 1980s. Cara revealed that he received the blessing to do so from both of the original Cinta de Oro’s sons.
The new Cinta de Oro reportedly doesn’t have to worry about a 90-day compete clause after being granted his release from WWE. According to sources from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Sin Cara is telling prospective bookers such. PWInsider is also hearing that Cinta de Oro is close to signing a contract with AAA after making a run-in appearance over the course of the weekend.
