It turns out that Kris Statlander could’ve been training at the WWE Performance Center to get used to the WWE style instead of becoming a star on Dynamite right now.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Statlander was very close to signing with WWE. Once AEW gave her a better deal with the idea of putting her on television right away, she signed with All Elite Wrestling.
Statland created a connection with fans by working AEW Dark matches before being put on Dynamite.
On the AEW Dynamite episode on January 1st from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL, Statlander is set to challenge Riho for the AEW Women’s Title.
