Backstage, the Miz says he needs the Fiend to pay for what he did to his family. The Miz tells Daniel Bryan to defeat the Fiend at the Royal Rumble.

In-Ring Segment: Sasha Banks and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley

Bayley says she’s sure everyone has been thinking about their New Year’s Resolutions but she knows nobody will follow through with these goals. She says none of the fans have what it takes to make positive changes in their lives. Bayley says she and Banks make tough changes in 2019 and ended the year on top of WWE SmackDown. Lacey Evans and Dana Broke come to the stage and Evans says it’s her passion to set a positive example and build a better life for her daughter. Evans says Banks and Bayley have gotten to her and she wants to show everyone that the bad guys can be stopped no matter what. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross come to the stage and Bliss wonders if they belong in this match. Cross says they want to get back into the Women’s Tag Team Championship picture.

Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss vs. Dana Brooke & Lacey Evans

Evans and Banks start the match but Banks quickly tags Cross. Brooke tags in and slams Cross, who splashes her in the corner. Bliss tags in and squares off with Brooke. Bayley secretly tags in and blindsides Bliss. Banks kicks Bliss behind the referee’s back. The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection gangs up on Bliss. Banks grounds her and stops her from rallying.  Bayley knocks Brooke and Evans off the apron. Cross dives off the top onto all of them but Banks shoves her into the steps.

Brooke breaks up a pin attempt after a Meteora and suplexes Bayley then Banks. Bayley helps Banks gain the upper hand on Brooke and they double-team her. They isolate her for a few minutes and Banks gets a near fall after Bayley suplexes Brooke. Brooke knocks Bayley off the apron and suplexes Banks. Bayley and Evans tag in and Evans hits her with a clothesline and a standing moonsault. Banks pulls Bayley away from a moonsault and Bliss breaks up a pin attempt after a Bayley-to-Belly. Banks rocks Bliss with a kick and double-teams Cross with Bayley. Evans reverses a double-team and Brooke pins Banks after a Woman’s Right and a senton off the top.

Winners: Dana Brooke & Lacey Evans

Backstage, Mandy Rose tries talking to Otis but he’s upset about Dolph Ziggler’s actions last weeks. Mandy apologizes but Tucker arrives and tells Otis they have a match to prepare for. Heavy Machinery walks away.

Backstage, the Miz runs into the New Day, who are dousing some 2020 pancakes with syrup. Big E says he watched the balls drop, which confuses Kofi Kingston. Kingston recaps the Miz’s successful decade. He tries to fist bump Miz, who reminds them that the Fiend threatened his family. The Miz knocks over the pancakes and tries to fight Big E. Kingston accepts the Miz’s challenge for a match.

In-Ring Segment: Elias

Elias sings a song about the new year and his hope for 2020. He hopes Sami Zayn gets punched and says the Revival is hard to watch. Elias says everyone will walk with Elias at WWE Royal Rumble.

Backstage, the Revival say the Miracle on 34th Street Fight was a dumb gimmick. Scott Dawson says they deserve respect but they’re interrupted by Shorty G. He says he’s embraced who he is. The Revival mock Shorty for his size but he says he can do anything because he’s comfortable in his own skin. Shorty challenges Dash Wilder to a match and he accepts.
