JBL To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Former WWE Champion JBL will be enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame later this year.

The John Bradshaw Layfield news comes from tonight’s episode of WWE Backstage; Wrestling Inc. first reported in February that JBL was a candidate for the 2020 class.

JBL joined WWE in 1995 and wrestled regularly until 2009. He then became a color commentator for the company for several years. Beyond the WWE Championship, he’s also won the Intercontinental, United States, Hardcore, European, and Tag Team belts. Beyond his JBL persona, Layfield also was one half of the New Blackjacks with Barry Windham and the Acolytes Protection Agency with Ron Simmons.

WWE has currently announced that JBL, Batista, The Bella Twins and the nWo will be inducted, while other outlets have reported The British Bulldog, and Jushin Liger will be added to this year’s class.
