Fight Pit Match: Matt Riddle vs. Timothy Thatcher (Special Guest Referee Kurt Angle)
Both men are on the platforms above the cage. Thatcher drops down. Riddle drops down to the mat but rolls right into a roaring elbow. Riddle takes Thatcher down. Thatcher escapes and puts Riddle in a sleeper. Riddle walks the cage to escape. Riddle German suplexes Thatcher. Broton by Riddle. Riddle bounces off the cage and lands a kick that floors Thatcher. Angle counts Thatcher out. Thatcher gets to his feet but Thatcher’s face is a bloody mess. Thatcher lost a few teeth. The doctor checks on Thatcher. After the break, Riddle and Thatcher are tussling near the cage. Riddle tries to bounce off the cage for a Superman punch but Thatcher turns it into the Fujiwara Armbar. Riddle escapes. Thatcher puts Riddle in a heel hook. Thatcher turns it into the STF. Thatcher drives his knee into Riddle’s gut.
Angle administers the 10 count. Riddle is up at five. Butterfly suplex by Thatcher. Thatcher works Riddle’s injured arm. Riddle counter and almost locks in the Bromission. Thatcher rolls out of it. Thatcher kicks Riddle in the thigh. Thatcher almost gets a full mount. Riddle counters and gets a full mount. Thatcher passes and locks in a triangle. Riddle gets to his feet and tries to powerbomb Thatcher on the cage. Thatcher hooks the cage and climbs up to the platform. Riddle follows. Thatcher and Riddle trade strikes. Thatcher catches one of Riddle’s kicks and locks in an ankle lock. Riddle is hanging off the cage while Thatcher has him tied up. Riddle refuses to quit. Riddle kicks his way out of the hold. Riddle misses a broton on the platform.
Thatcher suplexes Riddle on the platform. Thatcher tries to suplex Riddle off the platform. Riddle fights his way out of it and hits a knee that sends Thatcher crashing back down to the mat. Riddle hits the floating bro off the platform. Riddle runs headfirst into the cage. Thatcher locks Riddle in a rear-naked choke. Riddle drives Thatcher into the cage over and over again. Riddle drops Thatcher back first on the mat. Thatcher pops up and locks the rear-naked choke in once again. Thatcher puts is hooks in. Riddle passes out.
