Pete Dunne Is A Pat McAfee Guy, Takes Out Kyle O’Reilly In NXT Return

During tonight’s Halloween Havoc, former NFL player Pat McAfee once again showed up to the world of NXT. Just a week after helping Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch win the NXT Tag Team Championships, McAfee shocked the world once again, joining forces with a returning Pete Dunne to deliver a brutal beating to Kyle O’Reilly.

After coming down to the ring with both Lorcan and Burch, McAfee bragged about his stellar debut at NXT TakeOver: XXX, and said that he was the one behind Adam Cole being attacked by Ridge Holland. McAfee went on to say that he then recruited Lorcan and Burch after Holland was injured, but was then interrupted by Kyle O’Reilly, who came down to the ring and looked ready to get in. Just then, Pete Dunne made his return, coming down to the ring with two steel chairs and looking as if he was ready to help O’Reilly take down the trio in the ring.

However, once Dunne and O’Reilly got into the ring, Dunne – who had handed Kyle a chair – quickly turned and hit O’Reilly with the chair. The three superstars and McAfee all proceeded to ambush O’Reilly, with Mcafee telling the man that he was smarter than The Undisputed Era, and that they were the new kings of the brand.
