Deonna Purrazzo went into tonight’s Turning Point pay-per-view with one mission, which was to reclaim her hold on the IMPACT Women’s Championship. In a brutal match between two of the best female superstars in IMPACT Wrestling, Purrazzo did just that, taking down Su Yung to become the champion once again.
In a match that saw both superstars give it their all, it was Purrazzo who managed to survive long enough to come away with the win. Late in the match, Purrazzo was able to block a red mist attempt by Yung, and lock in the Venus de Milo with Yung’s head trapped in a steel chair. Despite being seemingly passed out, Yung managed to get up just as the referee began checking on her, and then locked in the Mandible Claw onto Purrazzo in an attempt to win. However, Purrazzo once again flipped the script, tossing Yung off of her before landing the Cosa Nostra piledriver for the win.
