Cody Hall Under Contract With MLW, But The Two Sides Reportedly Agree To Part Ways

Update: Cody Hall is signed to a deal with MLW but it remains to be seen if he’ll make his TV debut.

It was initially reported that Hall was under contract with MLW, which has since been confirmed by both WrestleZone and POST Wrestling. However, POST reports that Hall and MLW will not be working together and the two sides have actually agreed to part ways, and there was no animosity on MLW’s end towards Hall.

WrestleZone was told by a source this afternoon that Hall “is signed to MLW” (opposed to “was”) but no other details about his status moving forward were given.

According to a new report from Wrestling Inc, Cody Hall is under contract with MLW and has been under agreement since October. It was noted that ideas for Hall’s debut have included him being added to CONTRA Unit alongside Jacob Fatu, Josef Samael, Simon Gotch, Ikuro Kwon and Mads Krugger, or potentially teaming with Brian Pillman Jr.

Hall is the son of WWE Hall Of Famer Scott Hall, and began his wrestling career back in 2010. He found his most success with New Japan Pro-Wrestling as a member of Bullet Club. Hall has most recently worked in Japan and the UK, with his last match coming in February against Yuki Ueno at DDT Sunday Kasukabian 2020.
