Edge’s Comeback Parallels ‘Rocky Balboa’ And ‘Logan’, Says He Can Relate To Those Stories So Much

WWE Hall of Famer Edge is on top of the world, and he admits that he still feels like he’s dreaming.

During an appearance on WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves, “The Rated R Superstar” looked back on the whirlwind week, and overall year, that he’s had. He stated that it felt like he was flying in a tornado.

“I feel like I had no protection in a hurricane, like I was out with nothing around me in the middle of—okay maybe a tornado,” said Edge.

Many fans have already compared Edge’s comeback to “Logan,” a movie about a stripped-down version of the iconic superhero, Wolverine, who goes on one last run. During the interview, “The Ultimate Opportunist” pointed to this film and “Rocky Balboa” as two parallels of his own story.

“If you had told me that all of this would be happening, I’d say you’re crazy, and it’s ridiculous, and to have Christian come back, it’s a movie script that you’d say, ‘Nah, it’s too cheesy,’ because things can’t go that good,” he said. “…I can use [“Rocky Balboa”]  in presenting this version of Edge, which to be perfectly honest, is basically just Adam this time around. “Logan” is another one that I thought okay, you know, this is again, Logan, it’s Wolverine kind of in that last [run.] I can relate to it so much, where I’m at in life.”
