The Acclaimed Introduces ‘Gino Jericho’, Driven To Therapy In Their New Music Video

The Acclaimed continues to build their tag match on AEW Dynamite against MJF and Chris Jericho in a highly entertaining fashion.

Their latest music video, titled “Ding Ding”, starts off with the duo in therapy as Anthony Bowens can’t stop thinking about “Judas” by Fozzy. They’re told to get through this together by the therapist, and then give a rap-filled take on the “Dinner Debonair.” It’s filled with recent references, including a bar about Jose Canseco’s recent “boxing” loss.

“Jericho, leadership skills you are lacking,” raps Max Caster. “Got the foundation of your little group cracking. Sammy cares more about his vlog than the crew.”

As if this wasn’t enough, The Acclaimed has been ripping on MJF and Jericho by dredging up their past, bringing both family and exes into the equation. Part 1 of “The Road To Kicking The S*** Out of The Inner Circle” features MJF’s “ex-girlfriend” Marsha Mello, while Part 2 introduces Gino Jericho, Chris Jericho’s Italian cousin from New Jersey, who was disowned in the middle of a blizzard. (You know what you did, Chrissy!)

The Watch List takes a look at what matches you should be watching while you’re at home and they come recommended by your favorite professional wrestling stars. WrestleZone recently spoke with The Acclaimed, who are quickly becoming one of the most popular teams in All Elite Wrestling.

Anthony Bowens and Max Caster weren’t a team until Tony Khan put them together in AEW, and despite the short time they’ve been together, they have amassed a considerable amount of wins. They soon found themselves in the main event and despite losing the title match, they both know the one match they’d pick to show people to demonstrate their greatness.

Bowens: “I think it’s gotta be the main event with The Young Bucks. For a while, we’d been trying to really cement ourselves and prove ourselves to everyone, whether it’s fans, whether it’s AEW, and I think that cemented us like, hey, The Acclaimed are here in AEW. We’re the real deal, we’re a force to be reckoned with for years to come. We just needed that opportunity on a big stage to show that we can handle the pressure of being in the main event, to show that we can handle the pressure of wrestling one of the best tag teams in the world and I think we knocked it out of the park completely and we’re excited for future opportunities and whatever comes next. Tag Team Title match. The Acclaimed are gonna bring it.”

Caster: “On another note, after that match, I think I people looked at us a lot differently, at least at the arena there. People were like ‘OK, these guys aren’t just big jacked guys, they’re not just random guys that we threw together. They actually are really good’ and it took that to prove to everybody that The Acclaimed actually comes with a lot of acclaim. So the Young Bucks match, [I’m] most proud of that. Very happy with that and just the response has been crazy and since then, I think it’s all uphill.
