ROH Wrestling Results (6/14/21): Tag Title Match, Survival Of The Fittest Qualifier

Pure Rules Match For The ROH World Tag Tean Championship: Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus (c) vs. La Faccion Ingobernables (Dragon Lee and Kenny King)

LFI refuses to shake hands with The Foundation when the match begins. Titus and King start the match as the legal men. They exchange technical holds, and Titus gains the upper hand. The champions double-team King, and Williams forces King to use his first rope break. “Hot Sauce” grounds King, but he manages to tag Lee. The former ROH World Television Champion trades stiff blows with Williams.

A hurricanrana sends Williams to the outside, and Lee quickly springs up to his feet when “Hot Sauce” dodges a dive. A double stomp from the top rope gives Lee more momentum, but Williams fires back with a suplex. LFI double-teams Williams, and the challengers are firmly in control. Lee spits at Titus, and LFI continues to isolate Williams. But he eventually tags Titus, and the fresh man enters the match with an electric burst of offense. He suplexes King and forces the challengers to use their second rope break. Titus spits at Lee, and King takes advantage of the distraction by dropping Titus with a blockbuster. Titus countersa double-team maneuver by suplexing Lee.

Williams tags in and floors King with a DDT on the turnbuckle. King uses his final rope break to escape a crossface. Titus illegally enters the match to break up a submission hold. He drills King with a running boot in the corner, but Lee blasts him with a slingshot kick of his own. Lee hits Dragon’s Breath (running dropkick in the corner) for a two count.

Lee suplexes Titus, but gets turned upside down with a clothesline. Lee hits a diving stomp on Titus and dives onto Williams. Titus breaks up the pin after a Royal Flush on Williams. Williams dodges the Incinerator knee and hits a super piledriver. King breaks up the win, but because he’s out of rope breaks, the referee disqualifies LFI.

Winners and still ROH World Tag Team Champions: The Foundation (Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus)

Bestia del Ring attacks the champions, and Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham make the save. Gresham chokes out Lee with a cord and the brawl continues. Violence Unlimited watches the chaos from the top of the stage.
