WWE official Adam Pearce has teased that the King of the Ring tournament will be coming back soon.
In recent weeks, Baron Corbin has been feuding with Shinsuke Nakamura over the crown he earned when he won the tournament in 2019. The two rivals will battle for the crown this Friday on WWE SmackDown. But during an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Corbin note that anyone who wants to wear the crown should compete in the traditional King of the Ring tournament.
In a Tweet, Pearce responded by noting his conversations with Corbin about this very topic. The WWE official then teased the fans with a potential update.
“Stay tuned,” wrote Pearce.
