Backstage, Jimmy apologizes to Jey for everything he said to him. Jey asks Jimmy if they should handle Edge before Reigns does. Jey tells Jimmy to think about it.
In-Ring Segment: Natalya and Tamina
Natalya says they are taking on a team that has never been seen on SmackDown before. Tamina says they need to hurry up and get out here so they can get this over with. Shotzi and Tegan Nox ride down to the ring in Shotzi’s tank.
Natalya and Tamina vs. Shotzi and Tegan Nox
Nox and Natalya trade submission holds, Shotzi and Nox double team Natalya. Shotzi gets a near fall. Tamina breaks up the pin. Tamina and Natalya take turns working over Shotzi. Everyone lands a big move. Shotzi surprises Natalya with the Ball Pit for the win.

Backstage, Edge says he wonders if Reigns has a big enough set of jewels to come to the ring by himself later tonight.
In-Ring Segment: Sonya Deville
Deville announces Bayley, unfortunately, suffered an injury that will keep her out of action for the next 9 months. Via a video, Bayley complains that no one really cares that she’s hurt. She got hurt for us. Her injury is all the WWE Universe’s fault. Bayley doesn’t care who they put in her place, because they are not as good as her. Deville says they have to figure out what to do with Bianca Belair’s title defense. Belair will no longer be defending the title at MITB. Belair will defend the title next week on SmackDown in front of live fans. Belair will be defending against Carmella. Carmella joins Deville in the ring. Carmella reminds us that she is the most beautiful woman in WWE.
Liv Morgan walks out and complains that she wasn’t put in the match. Morgan gets all in Deville’s face but Deville tells Morgan to shut up because she was about to make Morgan Carmella’s replacement for the MITB match. Deville tells Morgan to get the hell out of the ring before she changes her mind. Morgan tells Carmella she hopes she wins so she can take the title off Carmella. As Morgan is leaving, Belair walks out on the stage. Morgan and Belair have a staredown. The two smile and Morgan leaves. Belair says she doesn’t know if Bayley is really hurt but she respects her competitive energy. When Bayley is ready, Belair will be waiting. Belair says she’ll deal with Carmella next week.
