Sheamus To Defend WWE US Championship Against Damian Priest At SummerSlam, Updated Card

Sheamus will defend the WWE United States Championship against Damian Priest at the SummerSlam pay-per-view.

“The Archer of Infamy” challenged the champion to this bout on this week’s episode of WWE RAW. Sheamus defeated Ricochet in a non-title bout on Monday, and Priest emerged victorious in a match with John Morrison. In a promo after his win, Priest called out Sheamus and stated that he’s a bully. Once he made the challenge, Sheamus accepted, so the title match is now official.

The updated card is as follows:

  • WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Goldberg
  • WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. John Cena
  • WWE RAW Women’s Championship: Nikki A.S.H. (c) Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripey
  • WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) Sasha Banks
  • WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. The Mysterios
  • Seth Rollins vs. Edge
