Josh Alexander looks to solidify his reign as X-Division Champion in a match against one of the most storied champions in company history.
After vanquishing Jake Crist on the September 2 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Josh Alexander would be challenged by Chris Sabin to meet him for the championship that Chris helped raise the legacy and importance of at the upcoming Victory Road event. Alexander, eager to stake his claim as one of the greatest champions of all time, would accept the challenge and the match has since been made official.

This match joins Christian Cage vs Ace Austin as the only two matches signed for the show so far. Victory Road goes down on September 18, 2021, on IMPACT Plus.
