AEW Dynamite Viewership Drops On 9/15, Remains Over 1 Million For Fourth Straight Week

AEW Dynamite viewership saw a drop this week, but the show stayed over one million viewers for the fourth consecutive week.

According to Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, AEW Dynamite brought in 1,175,000 viewers which is down from 1.319 million viewers the show brought in last week. AEW Dynamite scored a 0.44 rating (574,000 viewers), which is down from last week’s 0.52 rating. Despite the drop in week-to-week numbers, it was noted that AEW still scored a higher demo rating than WWE RAW for the second consecutive week, edging out RAW 0.44 to 0.43.

AEW Dynamite has maintained an audience of more than one million viewers for eight out of the past ten weeks, only missing the mark on August 11 (979,000) and August 18 (975,000). AEW was also the number one overall show on the night on cable for the fourth consecutive week.

This week’s show was highlighted by a faceoff between Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes’ return and Adam Cole’s in-ring debut. Next week’s show offers a loaded card, as Danielson challenges Omega for the AEW World Championship, plus Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. defends her championship against Ruby Soho, and Cody Rhodes will face off with Malakai Black.
